About the Band
Mercy on the Stairs is a cinematic electro-rock project somewhere between Toronto and Berlin, officially formed in 2025.
From the beginning, the project carried a sound of its own — electro-driven rock shaped by dark rock atmosphere, gothic melancholy, industrial edge, raw grunge emotion and metal-edged intensity.
Driven by themes of toxic romance, longing, fading memories, obsession and emotional vulnerability, Mercy on the Stairs creates a world where beauty and darkness constantly collide.
Built through music, visuals and creative direction, the project intentionally explores the place where human emotion and artificial creation meet.
Because technology was never the point.

Alan
Vocals, Songwriting, Guitar
Alan is the voice at the center of Mercy on the Stairs — intense, elegant and quietly dangerous. His songs carry longing, obsession and the kind of melancholy that does not ask for permission. With guitar in hand and a voice that moves between vulnerability and force, he turns every emotion into something impossible to ignore.
Dan
Drums
Dan is the thunder behind the silence. His drumming gives Mercy on the Stairs its physical force — controlled, heavy and relentless when the songs begin to break open. He does not need the spotlight to dominate a room. Every hit, every pause, every crash feels like pressure building beneath the surface.
Chris
Bass
